Where We Fly
Based in Guildford, Surrey we meet for all of our flights at The Squirrel Inn, Hurtmore, a few miles south of Guildford just off the A3.
On an average flight the balloon wil travel about ten miles. The direction we travel in depends on the wind direction on the day, so every flight is different and always an adventure!
Although we take off from The Squirrel most of the time, depending on the wind direction there are occasions when we launch from one of our other carefully selected launch sites. Round trip transport is organised for our passengers from the Squirrel.
Flights will give you panoramic views of the surrounding area - on a good day you may even see the Isle of Wight or a distant view of the City of London. More locally, you may take in sights such as the Devil's Punchbowl at Hindhead, Frensham Great and Little Ponds or the South Downs. Towns you may know such as Haslemere, Liphook, Godalming, Farnham, Guildford, Dorking, Cranleigh, Alton and the surrounding villages. It's amazing how different it all looks from a balloon!
